“As I sat down and read Linda’s book, I was flabbergasted on how much our lives paralleled each other. From our childhoods years, to life after graduation (her bonds with religion, mine with my first husband), to our soul-searching years, career choices, health issues, and then finding the loves of our life. Linda was on a wild rollercoaster ride and I was sitting on the front seat right beside her. I laughed, I cried, and I understood her message. I hope others, can search deep inside their souls and find their “Voices of the Heart”.”

Now from the misty past my impression is that you have made a great contribution by courageously revealing your life from the inside, and how God guided you to where He wanted you to be and to do. This gives the reader the privilege of witnessing the interior journey to God and to Wholeness. It reminds me of Etty Hillisum’s life revealed in her diaries, published as “An Interrupted Life”, which became very famous for this same reason.
I get this privilege in spiritual direction and the workshops I do which are really group spiritual direction. But few get to see another human life from the inside, and how God is working with the person.”

“I stayed up and finished “Voices of the Heart” last night. It took a great deal of courage to bare your soul to the general public: a difficult yet obviously healing ordeal. You are absolutely correct when you stress the fact that ‘life is a journey and not a destination’. Ultimately the‘choice’ is up to the individual. There is no quick remedy pill, as we hear promised on the media everyday…no fast— or even sure ‘fix’.
